Ugandan man arrested for visiting in-laws empty handed

A 60-year-old Ugandan man, Samuel Maikut has been arrested for visiting his in-laws to marry their daughter empty handed.

He told them he wanted a traditional marriage, and everything was ready.

His in-laws spent $2,100 on the event, only for him to show up empty handed.

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write. Oladiji made the clarification while speaking at the plenary. According to him, the aforesaid move was a condition to halt Aiyedatiwa’s impeachment.
