Another controversial VAR decision in the premier league fixture between Arsenal and Newcastle United left Mikel Arteta furious, describing the level of officiating in the premier league as a disgrace. Anthony Gordon’s controversial goal separated the two sides, a goal arteta believes should not have been awarded. It was a decision Arteta labelled a ‘disgrace’ and ’embarrassing’ in a game that had already seen a pair of controversial incidents in the first half when Arsenal’s Kai Havertz and Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes could both have potentially seen red.

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write. Oladiji made the clarification while speaking at the plenary. According to him, the aforesaid move was a condition to halt Aiyedatiwa’s impeachment.
