Pere breaks silence on relationship with Mercy Eke

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere Egbi has finally addressed the speculation surrounding his relationship with fellow housemate Mercy Eke.

In an interview with TVC, Pere confirmed that he and Mercy are indeed in a relationship, but have chosen to keep it under wraps for now.

"We are just friends and we are just keeping everything out of the public. Let's see where it goes," Pere said.

He also revealed that he would have been "a lot more firmer" if he had the chance to do things differently in the Big Brother Naija house.

"I took it easy on a lot of the housemates and they were lucky. Because if they were in my season 'Shine Ya Eye' 2019, dem for hear am," he said, using a slang term meaning "they would have heard it" in Nigerian Pidgin English.
