Paul Pogba Banned Two-years From Football For Doping Violation
Paul Pogba received a two-year suspension following the doping affair. Pogba will be 32 years old when he returns.
Pogba, a midfielder for Juventus, is subject to a sporting trial in Italy after failing a drug test in August, which might result in a two-year suspension from football.
After Juventus defeated Udinese earlier in the season, the Frenchman’s test came back positive, and his counter analysis, which was handed in last month, also revealed that he had high testosterone levels.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Pogba, who asked for the matter to be considered at just one session at the Tribunal of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, had “suffered his first defeat” in the process. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) denied the motion, thus he will now proceed with an Italian trial.
