Man caught stealing tubers of yam in Nasarawa Community

A young man was caught stealing tubers of yam from a farm in a community in Nasarawa State on Friday.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was seen carrying a bag full of yams away from the farm when he was challenged by the owner. The owner of the farm raised an alarm, and the man was apprehended by members of the community.

The man was taken to the village head, where he confessed to stealing the yams. He said that he was unemployed and had no money to buy food, so he decided to steal the yams.
