I grew up hearing Nigeria would be better- Comedian AY

Veteran Nigerian comedian AY Makun, popularly known as AY, has expressed frustration over the unfulfilled promises of a better Nigeria. 

In a recent social media post, the comedian recalled growing up with the constant refrain that "Nigeria go better," but lamented that he is still hearing the same rhetoric in his fifties.

"I grew up hearing Nigeria would be better," AY wrote. "Now I'm in my fifties, I'm still hearing it. What kind of Groundhog Day existence do we live in in this country, though? 'The more things seem to change, they remain the same.'"

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write.
