Diamond Platnumz has won the Best African Act Award at the 2023 MTV EMAs. He has become the first African Artiste to win three MTV European Music Awards (EMAs). He won two awards for Best African Act and Best Worldwide Act (Africa/India) in one night at the 2015 MTV EMAs.

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write. Oladiji made the clarification while speaking at the plenary. According to him, the aforesaid move was a condition to halt Aiyedatiwa’s impeachment. Recall that the speaker, including other personalities in the state, met with President Bola Tinubu at the villa last week.
