BREAKING: NLC, TUC to embark on nationwide strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) have ordered its members to embark on nationwide strike.
 
According to GLONAT, the labour unions directed its members to commence a nationwide strike over the assault on NLC president, Joe Ajaero.
 
The organised labour directed its affiliates to implement the resolutions of the National Executive Council.
 
President of TUC, Festus Osifo, who addressed reporters on Monday, November 13, said the strike would remain until “government at all levels wake up to their responsibility.”

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write.
