Breaking: Appeal Court affirms election of Peter Mbah as Enugu Gov

The Court of Appeal has confirmed Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State as the legitimate winner of the Enugu State Gubernatorial election.

The court affirmed the judgment of the Enugu Tribunal delivered on September 9 by the Hon. Justice K.M. Akano led tribunal.

The judgement was delivered by a three-man panel of the Appeal Court in a case filed by Barr Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party, LP. The three issues which were subject of the appeal went in favour of Mbah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write. Oladiji made the clarification while speaking at the plenary. According to him, the aforesaid move was a condition to halt Aiyedatiwa’s impeachment.
