The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Douye Diri, has cast his vote.

Diri, the state incumbent governor voted at Ward 6, Unit 4 Kalaowei Owei Sampou town in Kolokuma-Opokuma local government area of Bayelsa state around 8.40 am on Saturday November 11, 2023.

Ondo: Why Aiyedatiwa was asked to write resignation letter – Speaker The Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, has given the reason behind the resignation letter which the deputy governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was asked to write. Oladiji made the clarification while speaking at the plenary. According to him, the aforesaid move was a condition to halt Aiyedatiwa’s impeachment. Recall that the speaker, including other personalities in the state, met with President Bola Tinubu at the villa last week.
